HELLO, I’M GLORIA

Before becoming a Product Designer, I was first a teacher and world traveler. I am passionate about discovering and meeting user needs with digital product solutions. I am a fun loving designer who values collaboration and creativity.

UX TOOLS

UX SKILLS

USER RESEARCH

Methods, such as, user interviews, user testing, and contextual inquiry provide insights that guide design decisions.

USER INTERFACE (UI)

UI is a vital component of UX. Good UI enable users to focus on the main task and avoid information overload.

PROTOTYPING

Rapid prototyping brings an idea to life. It is the most efficient and least expensive method to test product ideas and conduct user testing.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

I create user flow diagrams, sitemap, and task analysis to breakdown and analyze user steps for better user experience.

INTERACTION DESIGN

Analyzing each step the user takes to complete a task in order to anticipate user experience when working on interaction design.

USABILITY TESTING

Observing users through product testing reveal key insights, which increase empathy while guiding design decisions.

FORMER

WORLD TRAVELER
+ TEACHER

My previous career as a teacher required a heart full of compassion, empathizing with different people. I taught locally and internationally for ten years, and traveled to nations in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Oceania.

CURRENT

PRODUCT DESIGNER

The most fulfilling aspect of being a Product Designer is observing people’s experience, identifying pain points, and providing solutions that make life more simple + efficient. Being an INFP on the MBTI personality test, who is empathetic by nature, makes me a strong asset in User Experience.

WHAT I DO WHEN I’M NOT DESIGNING

Outside of work you can find me exploring new areas, caring for houseplants, lounging at a coffeeshop, taking photos of people, scenery, and everyday things, dabbling in content creation, binge-watching reality shows, and unwinding with sushi or wine.
